The Philly bike folks have done it again...Three super days of fun filled riding for all skill levels both on and off road. This event runs Semptember 10-12. Bring the family!
The weekend kicks off with a Friday afternoon ride hosted by the Philadelphia Mountain Bike Association. PMBA will host the mountain bike ride from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Pre-registration is required at http://www.phillymtb.org/
Saturday's ride is the 14th Annual Scenic Schuylkill Century Road Ride hosted by Philly Bike Club. This ride will take you through some of the most beautiful roads of Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. There is a 25 and 40 mile route for those wanting a shorter ride. Sunday is the final day of this exciting bike weekend. The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is hosting this event. This is a celebration of bicycling in Philadelphia on car-free streets. Rides will consist of a 10 and 20 mile loop that will be closed to motorized vehicles. Bring the kids! Show your family what how livable the city truly is. The 35 mile distance is on shared road.
