For the 3rd time since 2007, Liz Reap Carlson (Cycling Classic Essentials) paired up with Cari Higgins to win gold in the team sprints at Elite Track Nationals. Liz also ran away with an impressive 36.878 second gold medal win in the 500 meter time trial. The 500 meter time trial is a "race of truth". There is no where to hide. It is the true test of woman, machine and speed. After a season
of uncertainty in 2009, Carlson has once again proved without question
that she is the fastest woman on wheels on American soil. Carlson was among
several local legends from T-Town's (Valley Preferred Cycling Center)
training center to put their mark on cycling history. Coach Jennie Reed, another track legend is who Carlson attributes her success. Read what Carlson had to say about the 500 meter TT here.
